The terms that apply when a merchant installs and uses GateKit.

Service
GateKit provides configurable storefront age-verification tools for Shopify merchants. Merchants are responsible for choosing settings appropriate to their products, customers, locations, and legal duties.
No legal compliance guarantee
GateKit is a technical tool and is not legal advice. Age-verification requirements vary. The merchant remains responsible for confirming and meeting all applicable laws and platform policies.
Acceptable use
Merchants may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it in violation of law or Shopify policies.
Availability and changes
The service may be updated to improve security or functionality. Reasonable efforts are made to keep it available, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, GateKit is provided without implied warranties and liability is limited to fees paid for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to a claim.
